15 % OF TOTAL BOOK SALES GOES BACK TO THE SCHOOL, OFFSETTING FEE

AND CAN POTENTIALLY LEAVE SCHOOL WITH PROFIT.

Each session is about an hour long and can work effectively for up to 100 children seated on the floor or carpet.

Program is tailored according to the age group.  (For example, it’s not optimum to mix kindergarten with 5th grade.)

If school elects to do so, sessions can end with personalized book signings for those who ordered books.  School creates order forms with the info Laura provides.  It is recommended that the kids take their order forms home at least 2 weeks before the program, so they can bring in their orders about a week prior to the visit.  This way school can contact Laura with some notice and a ballpark number of books she will need to bring. 

MATERIALS THAT THE KIDS NEED TO BRING

2 pieces of 8.5 x 11 paper with the sketch starters that Laura has sent to the school.
Pencil (good idea to bring 2, in case one breaks)
Clipboard or book to support their works in progress!
